Trinity Bible Fellowship – Prison Ministry
Supported by Bethel UMC, this ministry began in 1982. Historically, volunteers ministered at the Manning Correctional Institution, Columbia, SC for over 29 years. Currently this ministry partners with New Beginnings half-way house to provide Christian teaching and outreach.
• Bible Study is provided twice-monthly at New Beginnings half-way house in Columbia.
• 30-year reunion service held June, 2013 at Bethel UMC, led by former inmates/families.
• Success is celebrated in the ordination of a former inmate who is now a Prison Chaplain.
