In response to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, Bishop Holston of the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church has recommended the suspension of all in-person worship services, gatherings, meetings, and events through April. As such, all meetings at Bethel and Monticello UMCs are cancelled through April 30. The Bishop's full statement can be found HERE.

While we may not be coming together as usual, we are still encouraged to continue our ministries in whatever way we safely can. Most importantly we are encouraged to be in prayer for those affected by this virus, the medical professionals working diligently to treat those who become ill, and for our leaders and everyone working to minimize the impact of this pandemic. We are also encouraged to remain in contact by phone and other means with others in our congregation and community, especially those who are homebound or those who may otherwise need our support.

Tithes and offerings for the support of our ongoing ministries may be mailed or dropped off at the Bethel church address (6688 State Hwy 269, Winnsboro, SC 29180).

For more information on the COVID-19 pandemic and steps you can take to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, please consult the DHEC website by clicking HERE.
